Laois Stone & Stoves will take back your WEEE on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis, free of charge at the time of delivery or at our store. Waste batteries are taken back in the store on a one-for-zero basis (i.e. no purchase required) as long as they are of equivalent type to that sold by us. WEEE and waste batteries can also be returned to your local civic amenity site free of charge. Do I need to have purchased at Laois Stone & Stoves to recycle?
No. We can recycle the above items at our store if you have purchased them with us as we have to return it to the manufacturer/supplier.
How do I return my old product to be recycled?
You can return your old electric equipment purchased from our store.
Will you collect my old product?
If you are getting a new electric appliance delivered to you, we can arrange collection of your old one back to be recycled (subject to delivery charge). Please ensure your old appliance is disconnected, clean and ready for the driver at the time of collection.
Do you take back used batteries?
As we don’t supply batteries for electrical equipment, unfortunately, we do not take back any batteries including Industrial or car batteries.
How much will it cost?
There is no charge for customers to return electrical appliances to our store or warehouses once it is returned at the customer’s expense.
